Tennis Competed at Oglethorpe; Women Defeats the Petrels while the Men Fell Short

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Atlanta, Ga. – The Berry College men's and women's tennis teams traveled to Atlanta on Saturday to take on the Stormy Petrels of Oglethorpe. The women defeated Oglethorpe 9-0 to remain undefeated overall while the men fell 8-1 to go 5-2 overall.

Allison Ivey and Juliana Mascagni played in No. 1 doubles and remained undefeated, defeating Oglethorpe's team 8-1. Adelle Yanez and Emma Kruger won their doubles match 8-4 with Sara Myers and Sakura Manning winning 8-2.

Ivey, Myers, Yanez, Mascagni, Kruger and Manning each won their singles matchup in two sets.

No. 2 doubles for the men's team was Diego Lopez and Drayton Matus. They would win Berry's only point on Saturday, defeating Oglethorpe 8-0.
