Rome, Ga. – The Berry women's lacrosse team improved to 2-0 on Saturday after defeating Huntingdon College in dominating fashion, 16-1.
Kate Krauser led the way for the Vikings with four goals with
Abby Sprayberry,
Haley Larsen and
Morgan Davis adding three goals each. Sprayberry,
Riley Norris and
Alexa Medor each tallied two assists.
Andrea Lindgren started the game at goal keeper for the Vikings, collecting four saves.
Kristina Jones came in during the second period for Lindgren and had two saves.
The Vikings dominated from start to finish in every statistical manner—they took 31 shots to Huntingdon's 11, only committed 12 turnovers to HC's 21, collected 43 ground balls to the 21 from Huntingdon and won 11-18 draw controls.
Currently, the Vikings lead the nation in team caused turnovers in DIII with
Morgan Davis leading in individual stats in caused turnovers and ground balls per game.
