The Berry men's soccer team came up short against Rhodes, who handed the Vikings a 2-0 loss in a Southern Athletic Association road game in Memphis on Friday.
The loss brings the Vikings record to 7-3-1 overall and 1-1-1 in the conference.
Twenty-three minutes into the game, Jesus Tadeo got past the goalkeeper to give the Lynx the lead 1-0 that held up at the half.
Coming into the second half, in the 49th minute, Tadeo recorded his second goal of the day, this time capitalizing off a penalty kick to give Rhodes what proved to be the final score of the game..
The Vikings recorded nine shots on goal, four of those coming from Nathan Carlson, but were unable to crack Rhodes' defense. The Lynx 10 shots on goal for the day.
Berry goalkeeper, José Palacios had four saves on the day.
Berry is set to take on Hendrix in another SAA road matchup on Sunday in Conway, Ark.
