ROME, Ga. – The Berry College baseball team defeated Millsaps College 11-1 on Sunday, improving to 23-9 overall and 11-4 in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA).

Dylan Beasley earned the win, throwing 6.0 innings improving to 3-0 on the year. He allowed just one run and struck out three.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Millsaps took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first.
• Berry plated three in the home half of the innings off the bats of Dylan Beasley, Zach Huie and Reeve Holley.
• Huie pushed the lead to 4-1 in the third with a sacrifice fly. 
• Berry plated five runs in the bottom of the fifth and two in the sixth to secure the run-rule victory.
