Box Score CONWAY, Ark. — The No. 16 Berry College softball team secured the series sweep of Hendrix College on Saturday afternoon, claiming the final game off a 15-5 run-rule victory.
Abbey Gamble earned her first win of the season, tossing 4.0 innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Berry plated four in the top of the first inning off the bats of Kayla Sangrey, Katlin Seger and a Hendrix error.
- Hendrix answered with three in the home half of the first.
- The Vikings then plated 10 in the top of the second, led by a grand slam from Madison Morgan.
- The Warriors scored one in the second and fourth, but the Vikings closed it out for the team's 16th win of the year.
