MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Berry College softball team has announced their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2027 season.

Head coach Meredith Mills returns for her third season in charge, and the team looks to continue its reign atop the SAA, having won the last five conference championships.

The Vikings will play 40 games in the regular season, which includes 19 games at Kay Williams Field.

It all begins on February 13 with a home doubleheader against in-state rival Emory. Next up is a road game against LaGrange one week later, and then the Vikings play back-to-back doubleheaders at home against Bridgewater (Feb. 28) and Lynchburg (March 2) before Spring Break.

During Spring Break, the team travels to Columbus, Georgia for the NFCA Leadoff Classic for the second year in a row from March 5-7. Last season the Vikings won the tournament after knocking off some of the best programs in the country, and this season they'll take on six opponents that are still to be determined.

The team returns home for a doubleheader against Illinois Wesleyan on March 10 before their first road trip of the season. The Vikings travel to Huntingdon for a doubleheader on March 14, and then head to Texas to start SAA conference play against Trinity on March 26-27.

Following this is five straight home games for the Vikings, starting with a doubleheader against Piedmont on March 31 and ending with a three-game series against Centre on April 3-4.

From there, the team will play five three-game series against SAA opponents for the rest of the regular season from April 11 to May 8. Two of those series will be played at home against Rhodes (April 17-18) and Southwestern (May 7-8).

The SAA Championship takes place from May 13-15, and the top four teams in the conference make the tournament. The location site is still to be determined.
