CONWAY, Ark. — Josh Pruett scored in the 86th minute of play, but the Berry College men's soccer team could not complete the comeback on the road on Friday night, falling to the Hendrix College Warriors 2-1.

With the loss, Berry slips to 8-6-1 overall and 2-3 in league play. Hendrix improved to 4-11 and 1-4 in conference. 

Garrett Bosley got the Warriors on the board in the first half, scoring in the 28th minute off an assist from Luis Lara. Hendrix added another in the 77th minute to go up 2-0. Pruett's goal pulled the Vikings to within one late in the game, but Berry was unable to complete the comeback. Berry controlled the pace offensively, firing 18 shots to seven for Hendrix. Josh Neuman recorded seven saves in goal for the Warriors to preserve the win. 

Berry travels to Rhodes on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.
