Box Score ROME, Ga. — The Berry College volleyball team advanced to the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) semifinals today with a 3-0 victory over Centre College to open the SAA Tournament.
With the win, Berry improved to 23-3 and will face Sewanee tomorrow in the Cage Center at 4:00 p.m. The winner will advance to the SAA Championship match on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Vikings dominated most of the match, taking the opening set 25-18. BC went on to take set two 25-21 and the final set 25-13.
- As a team, Berry collected six blocks and hit .267.
- Emily Hancock led the offense, collecting 15 kills and hitting .275 with eight digs.
- Carson VanCampen also had an efficient outing, earning 13 kills and hitting .600.
