MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Jake Williamson added four shots in the contest, three of which were on goal, but the Berry College men's soccer team fell to Carthage College, 2-0, on Sunday afternoon.
Carthage's Ivan Esquivel found the back of the net in the 29th minute, giving the Red Men their first lead of the game. The Vikings then held off Carthage for the rest of the half, trailing 1-0 going into halftime. Carthage then scored their final goal of the game in the 74th minute, as Kevin Penarrieta found Jerry Patino who scored to move the lead to 2-0 before the end of the game.
