CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Marie Collop hit a two-RBI double in the top of the first as the Berry College softball team held off Millsaps College 2-1 on Saturday to advance to the SAA Conference Championships.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Collop's double in the top of the first to bring home both Sarah Moore and Brittany Ferrell proved to be Berry's only two runs of the game.
• Millsaps rallied for a run off a bases loaded walk in the top of the seventh, but the Vikings two-run lead ensured the 2-1 victory.
• In the contest, Berry outhit Millsaps 7-4, while both teams had two errors.
• Three pitchers took to the circle for Berry, with Marie Collop earning the win.
