MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - After falling behind 2-0, the Vikings were able to rally and secure the 4-2 victory over Adrian College at William R. Bowdoin Field on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
• In the top of the first, Adrian's Ian Mikowski was able to score on a Vikings error to take a 1-0 lead.
• The Bulldogs scored again in top of the second inning from Jordan Torrento crossing the plate for the second Adrian run of the game.
• The Vikings come back began in the bottom of the second with Devin Post hitting a single to left field, earning an RBI which scored Jacob Delk
• The Vikings tied up the score 2-2 in the bottom of the third with Austin Haight scoring on Slade Dale's sacrifice fly.
• Berry was able to take the lead in the bottom of the sixth with Kris Patel's single, scoring Delk.
• The Vikings added more insurance in the bottom of the seventh, with Casey Whitaker putting a ball in play for Slade Dale to push the score to 4-2.
