JACKSON, Miss. - Devin Post led the team with a home run and three RBIs, but the Berry College baseball team lost to Belhaven University 10-6 on Friday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Belhaven led throughout the entire game, scoring in four different innings.

• The Vikings pushed for a comeback, adding one run in both the seventh and ninth innings, but the deficit was too large, ensuring Belhaven's victory.

• Belhaven added 10 hits on the night, while Berry had eight.

• The Vikings also committed only two errors to Belhaven's three.

• Post: 1-4, 1 HR, 1 run, 3 RBI

• Slade Dale: 2-4, 1 run, 1 RBI

• Casey Whitaker: 2-3, 1 run

• With the loss, Berry falls to 0-2 on the year.
