Box Score MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Vikings volleyball team improved to 11-4 on the year and sit tied at second in the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) at 4-1 after a sweep of Centre College at home.
The Vikings continue to impress behind conference leaders Jessica Gum (162 kills, .338 hitting percentage), Katie Truluck (286 digs, 5.40 digs/set) and Hannah Kate Thompson (10.00 assists/set).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Vikings set the tone early, jumping out to a 25-18 set one victory after hitting .229 as a team.
- Berry's front row was dominant, racking up 42 kills and 12 blocks in the win
- Reigning SAA Offensive Player of the Week, Emily Hancock led the team in kills with 14 on .324 hitting percentage
