MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Steven Moore, Daniel Ray and Jake Williamson each scored once as the Berry College men's soccer team defeated Sewanee, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Moore opened up scoring in the 8th minute to put the Vikings ahead, 1-0.
- Ray then tallied in the 16th minute to move the score to, 2-0, before the half.
- Williamson added the final Berry goal in the 75th minute, ensuring the, 3-0, victory.
- Sewanee's Ben Vaeth added on the only Tiger goal of the game in the 85th minute off a header, following a cross from Max Hawes.
- The Vikings led the game in shots (17-9), while the Tigers led the game in corner kicks (5-4).
