MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – The Berry College volleyball team opened play in their five team invitational tournament with a 3-0 win over Washington & Lee University on Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Vikings hit .244 to the Generals' .142.
- Berry added 4 blocks, while Washington & Lee had none.
- The Vikings hit .364 as a team in the final set to clinch the victory.

- The Vikings held on to win all three sets by less than five points.
- Washington & Lee had two more kills than Berry (42-40,), yet the Vikings' attack percentage was higher in all three sets.
