MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Steven Moore scored the lone Viking goal of the game as the Berry College men's soccer team fell to Emory University 2-1 under the lights on Friday night.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Eagles' Cody Gardiner opened the game with a goal in the 30th minute.
- Moore then opened second half scoring with a tally in the 50th minute to move the score to 1-1.
- The game remained tied, 1-1, until the 71st minute when Emory's Jason McCartney scored the go-ahead goal.
- Emory bested Berry in shots, 13-11, while the Vikings led the game in corner kicks, 5-3.
