JACKSON, Miss. -- Millsaps College edged Berry College, 5-4, in Southern Athletic Association women's tennis action on Saturday.
With match tied 4-4, the deciding point came down to #6 singles. Berry's Valerie DeWandel fell to Major Reya Hayek 6-2, 2-6, 6-4 for the final tally.
The Vikings dropped to 6-3 and 1-1 in the SAA. Millsaps moved to 9-4, 1-1.
Berry plays at Birmingham-Southern on Sunday.
