Box Score CONWAY, Ark. - The Berry volleyball team advanced to the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) finals on Saturday after a 3-1 win over Birmingham-Southern. They will face Hendrix on Sunday at 1pm ET for the conference title.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Vikings took set one 25-22 before BSC dominated the second set 25-13 to tie it up.
- Berry went on to win sets three and four 25-20 and 25-19.
- The Vikings hit .221 to BSC's .209. Berry's NCAA DIII leading blockers were the difference-maker, notching 11 blocks to the Panthers' five.
- Emily Hancock hit .267 for 18 kills on the day to push the Vikings to the finals.
