CONWAY, Ark. - The Berry volleyball team advanced to the Southern Athletic Assoiation (SAA) semifinal match on Friday night with a 3-1 win over the Millsaps Majors. 

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• The two teams traded blows early, with the Vikings jumping out to a 1-0 lead before Millsaps answered 25-23 in set two. 
• Millsaps played sets three and four tight as the Vikings got the edge both times 25-22. 
• The Vikings hit a whopping .433 in the first set, in addition to adding 10 blocks. 
• Katie Truluck, the reigning Defensive Player of the Year, anchored the back line with 30 digs on the night. 
• Hannah Kate Thompson also had a solid night, racking up 50 assists.

• Sarah Sprague: 17 kills, 4 blocks
• Emily Hancock: 13 kills, 17 digs
• Jessica Gum: 13 kills, 8 blocks
• Hannah Kate Thompson: 50 assists
