MOUNT BERRY, Ga. – Senior Katie Truluck added 30 digs as the Berry College volleyball team defeated Millsaps College, 3-0, on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Set scores were 25-20, 25-17 and 25-19.
• The Vikings added 45 kills to the Majors' 28.
• Berry also led the match in assists, 41-26, while Millsaps finished with 73 digs to the Vikings' 71.

BERRY STATISCAL STANDOUTS:

• Emily Hancock: 9 kills, .214 attack %, 13 digs
• Truluck: 30 digs, 2 aces
• Hannah Kate Thompson: 23 assists, 3 aces, 5 digs
• Jessica Gum: 6 kills, .250 attack %

MILLSAPS STATISTICAL STNADOUTS:

• Erica Bennet: 9 kills, .200 attack %
• Shelby Marsh: 25 assists, 9 digs
• Payton Passantino: 7 kills, 17 digs

NOTABLES:

• Berry improves to 17-8 overall and 9-4 in the Southern Athletic Association.
• Millsaps drops to 6-15 and 3-10.
