Midkiff's Hat Trick Leads Berry to 7-0 Win over Oglethorpe

MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Maggie Midkiff scored a hat trick on senior day as the Vikings defeated Oglethorpe 7-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

  • The first goal was scored by Midkiff, assisted by Megan Radosta, from inside the box in the 24th minute.
  • Samantha Schoppy, assisted by Beata Brock, then scored from within the box with only two minutes left in the first half.
  • Midkiff kicked off the second half with back to back goals, both assisted by Megan Radosta.
  • Megan Radosta then turned around scored her own goal, unassisted.
  • Meridith Beretta, assisted by Cate Williams, scored the sixth goal from within the box.
  • For the seventh and final goal, Carmen Angel, assisted by Blair Painter, scored off of a corner kick.
