SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sewanee defeated Berry College, 8-1, in Southern Athletic Association women's tennis action on Sunday.
The Tigers improved to 14-4 and 3-0 in the SAA. The Vikings--which had its 6-match winning streak halted--fell to 10-2 in 6-1 in conference play.
The Vikings' lone point came at #3 singles where Kaleigh Carpenter and Emmie Cornell prevailed, 8-6.
The Vikings play an SAA quarterfinal match in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on April 24.
