Box Score 2 CONWAY, Ark. -- The Berry College softball team defeated Hendrix twice on Sunday. Game scores were 6-0 and 19-0 in 5 innings.
Following the contest, Berry improved to 27-6 and 17-2 in Southern Athletic Association action. The Warriors fell to 10-20 and 6-12 in the SAA.
In the first game, the visitors plated a run in the first inning and added 5 in the second en route to the 6-0 victory.
Kassie Howard (15-1) earned the complete game win. She tossed 7 innings, scattered 3 hits, fanned 8 Warriors and walked 3.
Five Vikings had 2 hits in the game: Ally Claytor; Brittany Tuttle; Kylie Aiken; Sarah Moore and Marie Collop.
The Vikes smashed 20 hits and allowed 2 in the nightcap, a 19-0 win in 5 frames.
Collop went 3-4 with a home run, a double and 4 RBI to lead Berry batters. Also collecting 3 hits were: Brittany Tuttle; Sarah Brown; and Brittany Ferrell.
Kayla Davis improved to 4-1 after earning the complete game victory.
The Vikings host Centre College to close SAA regular season play next weekend.
