Box Score ATLANTA – Berry College lost at sixth-ranked Emory, 3-0, on Saturday. The Vikings dropped to 5-2 and the Eagles improved to 3-0-2.
Charlotte Butker tallied in the 20th minute off an assist from Claudia Rowe's throw-in. The match remained 1-0 through 81 minute.
The Eagles got goals from Emily Feldman (82nd minute) and Christan Ramires (90th minute) for the final result.
Emory led BC in shots (20-11) and corner kicks (9-1). Maggie Midkiff recorded five of Berry's shots.
BC goalkeeper Jackie McGivney notched seven saves in the defeat.
"I am disappointed in the score, frustrated by a few too many mistakes, but really encouraged by the effort we showed today," said Vikings' Head Coach Lorenzo Canalis.
Berry hosts LaGrange on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
