ROME, Ga. -- Berry College defeated Rhodes College, 7-2, in Southern Athletic Association action on Sunday. The match featured the regionally ranked BC (#12) and RC (#17) women's tennis teams.
Berry swept the double matches and jumped out to a 3-0 lead.
The match was the last home match for senior Cailtlin Smith. Smith, who was honored on Saturday, won a battle at #3 singles over Anna Volkov. She prevailed 7-6, 6-7, 10-7.
The Vikings' match at Point University on Monday was canceled.
