Box Score ROME, Georgia -- Seven different Vikings had points as Berry College cruised to a 6-0 win over Oglethorpe on Mountain Day.
Berry moved to 8-2 and 1-0 in the Southern Athletic Association. OU dropped to 3-6, 0-2.
Lauren Sykora scored twice. She tallied the game's first two goals in the eighth and 13th minute respectively. Sara Dillon earned the assist on the first tally. Michala Bibbins had the helper on number two.
In the 44th minute, Ashley Moulton scored off a pass from Chanler Maddox. The score remained 3-0 at the break.
In the second half, Celia Dann found the back of the net in the 55th minute. Maggie Midkiff got her team-leading 12th goal of the season in the 58th minute. Dillon netted the match's final goal in the 77th minute.
The Vikings led in shots (26-5) and corner kicks (8-2). Jackie McGvney earned the win and had two saves.
For Oglethorpe, Sarah Craig grabbed two saves.
The Vikings play at Piedmont College on Monday at 7 p.m.
