DANVILLE, Kentucky -- Berry College won at Centre College, 3-1, on Friday night. Set scores were 25-16, 25-18, 23-25, 28-26.

Berry improved to 12-10 and 7-2 in the Southern Athletic Association. Centre dropped to 7-14, 3-5.

Anna Keappler had 15 kills and Emily Stromberg contributed 12 kills for the Vikings. Lauren Schmitz paced the BC offense with 31 assists.

Berry out-hit Centre, .256 to .234. Beth Cecil spiked a match-high 24 kills for the Colonels.

"We were really pleased with our relentlessness again tonight," said Berry Head Coach Mika Robinson. "The team showed great composure on the road, especially at the end of set four."

The Vikings play at Sewanee on Saturday.
