Box Score CONWAY, Ark. – Kelsey Lochstampfor had a season-high 15 kills as Berry College won at Hendrix, 3-0, on Saturday night. Set scores were 25-19, 25-20, 25-23.
Berry, which notched its sixth straight win, improved to 11-3, and 5-0 in the Southern Athletic Association. Hendrix fell to 10-7, 1-3.
The Vikings also got a strong effort from Katie O'Rourke. She had 13 kills and hit a team-best .500. Stephanie Quinn passed 44 assists, and Emily Stromberg recorded 17 digs for Berry.
For the Warriors, MC Rogers spiked 15 kills.
"We played some great defense today and continued to play efficiently on offense," Said Viking Head Coach Mika Robinson. "Hendrix had some aggressive young hitters, and they had a great crowd at the match, but we played with a steady composure that negated those advantages."
Berry returns to action next Friday when the Vikes travel to Millsaps.
