Rome, Ga—Berry entered Saturday's match with a sweep in their first SAA game over Sewanee, 3-0, Friday night. Saturday afternoon would be no different as the Vikings went on to sweep the Centre College Colonels 3-0 as well. Set scores were 25-22, 25-21, 25-15.

Emily Stromberg netted 12 kills and 9 digs to pace the Vikings. Anna Keappler added eight killsand nine digs, and Stephanie Quinn dished 32 assists.

Berry rallied from a 12-5 deficit to take set one, 25-22. The second set was competitive as the Vikings and Colonels took turns in the lead. Berry finished strong, winning the set 25-21.

"It certainly wasn't the prettiest game we've played all season, but I was proud of our team's composure when coming back in set one," said BC Head Coach Mika Robinson. "And we made such a drastic change in our level of play between sets two and three."

Berry returns to action on Tuesday night at the Cage Center at 7 p.m. against Oglethorpe, another SAA opponent.

"I think they're significantly better than last year," said Robinson. "They have some strong hitters, and they went through a coaching change, so I expect them to do things a little differently."
