ROME, Ga. -- Oglethorpe defeated Berry College, 9-0, in the first-ever Southern Athletic Asoociation match for both teams.
The Vikings fell to 1-6 and 0-1. The Stormy Petrels improved to 5-2 and 1-0.
The #1 singles match went to a third set tie-breaker as Ethan Metz edged BC's Logan Yerbey 7-5, 3-6, 10-3.
The Vikings play at Huntingdon this Saturday.
