BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Maggie Midkiff scored two goals and dished one assist as Berry College defeated Oglethorpe, 4-0, in a SAA quarterfinal match on Friday night.

Midkiff tallied unassisted goals in the 25th and 35th minute to put the Vikings ahead 2-0. She then assisted fellow freshman Hailey Hendrickson in the 40th minute. OU keeper Sarah Craig was off her line and Hendrickson scored into an open net.

The score remained 3-0 at the half. 

The Vikings recorded the match's last score in the 64th minute. On a corner kick, Kim Fischer finished from a pass by Lindsey Williams. 

Berry, which recorded its fifth shutout of the year, led in shots (24-2) and corner kicks (3-0). Melissa Sanchez got the win and made one save. OU's season ends at 6-11-1.

The Vikings (15-3) face the Hendrix-Rhodes winner on Saturday in Birmingham. Match time is 3:30 p.m. EST.
