ROME, Ga.–Berry College swept Rhodes, 3-0, on Sunday afternoon at the Cage Center. The set scores were 25-19, 25-20 and 25-20.
Gretchen Kaufman spiked 13 kills and Katie O'Rourke added nine kills and four blocks for the Vikings. Stephanie Quinn dished 43 assists and Katie Truluck led the team with 9 digs.
Berry's attack percentage was .370 versus Rhodes's .191. Stephanie Renner recorded 11 kills and Michelle Quina earned 27 assists for the Lynx.
Berry advanced to 18-5 and 11-1 in the Southern Athletic Association. Rhodes dropped to 8-17 and 5-7.
"We came into today's game with a specific game plan, and I am pleased with how we executed overall," said Berry's Head Coach Mika Robinson. "We have been focusing on improving our blocking and serving, and I liked what I saw today,"
The Vikings host Millsaps Saturday the 26th as they celebrate 10 years of volleyball at the Cage.
