CONWAY, Ark. -- Kyle Fitting scored twice as Berry College won a Southern Athletic Association match at Hendrix College, 4-1, on Friday night.

Fitting got Berry on the scoreboard in the 14th minute after he headed-in a corner kick off the foot of Josh Fancher. The score remained 1-0 at halftime.

BC pushed the lead to 2-0 in the 54th minute. Caleb Lucas tallied off an assist from Evan Echols.

In the 56th minute the home team cut the lead in half. Will Dunaway sent in a corner kick which was headed home by Jacob Pierce.

Fitting gave the Vikings some breathing room in the 78th minute. A ball squirted out to Fitting about 30 yards out. He blasted a shot that beat goalkeeper Marco Luna (seven saves).

Josh Hughes added an insurance goal in the 88th minute.

The visitors lead in shots 20-10. Logan Hill made two saves and earned the win.

Berry improved to 6-4-1 and 2-0 in the SAA. HC dropped to 4-6-2, 0-2.

The Vikings play at Rhodes College on Sunday.
