"We've been focused the whole season on every conference match being absolutely critical to our goals," said Berry Head Coach Mika Robinson. "Obviously Birmingham-Southern coming in here undefeated in the conference was a big challenge for us. I couldn't be happier with what we did. I felt like the girls did exactly what I asked them to do scouting-wise."
Berry will return to action on Friday against Centre at 5 p.m. The Colonels handed the Vikings its only conference defeat, 3-2, in Kentucky earlier this month.
