Box Score Atlanta, Ga. - The Berry College women's soccer team traveled to play at nearby Emory on Sunday. A strong Eagles team was too much for the Vikings and the Eagles prevailed, 4-0.
Unbeaten Emory improved to 6-0-2. Berry is now 2-4. The Vikings were coming off an eight day layoff entering the match.
Brooke Clement had a busy day in goal and stopped 10 Eagle shots.
Clare Mullins netted what would be the game-winning goal in the 26th minute. Emory led at halftime, 2-0, after a tally by Charlotte Butler in the 37th minute.
Kelly Costopoulos and Jennifer Grant recorded second half goals for the Eagles.
Berry opens SAA play at Centre on Saturday.
