No. 16 Sewanee Defeats Berry 9-0

Berry's women's tennis team fell 9-0 to Sewanee, the nation's 16th ranked team in NCAA Division III, Thursday at Richards Tennis Courts on the Berry campus.

Sewanee started the match with three quick doubles wins in which they dropped just one game in the three matches combined. The Tigers then took the six singles matches in straight sets to seal the victory.

Berry is scheduled to return to action Friday at Agnes Scott before closing the season Sunday against Huntingdon at Richards Tennis Courts.
