Berry's Keri McGinnis picked up the Vikings' lone point of the morning with a straight sets singles victory, but Coe defeated Berry 8-1 in a women's tennis match in Orlando, Fla., Monday.
McGinnis earned the No. 5 singles point with a 6-4, 6-2 victory over Coe's Jordan Ferree. The Kohawks would sweep the rest of the singles matches in straight sets and win all three doubles points to close out the victory.
Berry (1-2) is scheduled to return to action Tuesday against Meredith.
