Berry's Logan Yerbey joined teammate Jonathan Surls in picking up a doubles victory, then earned the Vikings' lone singles point, but Piedmont defeated Yerbey's Vikings 7-2 in a men's tennis match at Richards Tennis Court Thursday.

Yerbey and Surls teamed up to defeat Piedmont's Moses Das and Patrick Steck 8-2 in the top doubles match, and Yerbey then went on to beat Das 7-5, 4-6, 10-6 to account for Berry's two points in the match.

Piedmont won the second and third doubles matches and the five remaining singles contests.

Berry is scheduled to return to action Friday against Emmanuel at 3 p.m.
