Berry's Caitlin Smith, Maggie McDonald and Keri McGinnis all earned straight sets singles victories, but Augustana defeated Berry 6-3 in a women's tennis match in Orlando, Fla., Friday.

Smith, McDonald and McGinnis won in the second, third and fourth singles positions, respectively, for Berry.  Smith defeated Brittany Reece 6-5, 7-6, McDonald defeated Krista Panko 6-2, 6-0 and McGinnis defeated Meghan Wethington 6-2, 6-4.

Augustana would sweep the doubles matches and the remaining singles matches to secure the team victory.

Berry is scheduled to return to action Monday against Coe College.
