DANVILLE, Ky. -- Berry College lost to Rhodes College, 3-0, in an SAA quarterfinal match. Blair Shupenko recorded 11 saves in the game for the Vikings.

The defeat ends Berry's season at 4-11-2. The Lynx improved to 14-3-1 and advanced to Saturday's semifinal round.

Betsy Peterson scored in the second minute, and that's all Rhodes would need. 

Berry, however, kept the game close as the final two goals came in the 81st and 90th minutes. The latter was Peterson's second tally of the match.

Rhode led in shots, 19-5, and the game's two corner kicks.
