Emory's Zach Samuels recorded a hat trick in leading the Eagles to a 3-0 victory over Berry in a men's soccer match at Emory's Woodruff P.E. Center in Atlanta Saturday.

Emory would hold the 1-0 lead through the first half and into the first 12 minutes of the second stanza. Samuels, however, would give the Eagles some insurance when he headed in a pass from Alistair Moore at the 57:25 mark, making the score 2-0.
Samuels would tally his final score in the 82nd minute when he scored off of an assist by Javier Puga.
Berry (2-3-1 overall) would attempt 13 shots in the match, including two each from Reid Popple, Josh Hughes, Steven Weeks, David Shaw and Samer Hajmurad. Three of the Vikings' shots were on target.
Emory took 19 shots, with Samuels and Andrew Jones leading the team with four apiece.
Madigan recorded six saves for the Vikings. Emory goalkeeper Alex Wong had two, and Emory's defense knocked away another Berry shot on goal against an empty net.
