Box Score Berry's Nat Morey scored a team high three goals, but Ferrum defeated the Vikings 10-6 in a men's lacrosse game in Ferrum, Va., Saturday.
The game was marred by heavy winds and some hail that knocked out electricity at the field.
Berry tallied the game's first goal when Morey scored just 27 seconds into the contest. But Ferrum scored the next four goals to start a a 9-1 run and take a commanding lead.
Four of Berry's six goals came in the fourth quarter.
Morey was joined in the scoring column by Cal Supik, who scored twice, and CJ McRae, who added one goal. Brandon French passed for one assist.
Berry goalie Jordan Boreman recorded 15 saves.
Ferrum's Andrew Senft tied Morey for game-high honors with three goals.
The Vikings are scheduled to return to action April 6 against Oglethorpe at Berry's Ford Field.
