Berry Wins Home Finale 17-4

ROME, Ga. - Kristan Dziurzynski scored a game high four goals to lead Berry to a 17-4 victory over Millsaps in the Vikings' final home game of its inaugural season.

Nine Berry players scored in the game, including five who recorded a multi-goal game.  Jenny Miller scored three goals and Anya Dziurzynski, Kristen Brooks and Brittany Coughlan added two apiece for the Vikings.

Blair Shupenko, Kaylee Lane, Katie Harber and Kimberly Slade also scored for Berry. 

Anya Dziurzynski dished out a game high five assists as Berry won its third consecutive game.

The Vikings (7-7) dominated possession throughout the game, controlling 15 of 23 draws and outshooting the Majors 40-6.  Berry's defense also stepped up, holding Millsaps to just 9-for-24 on clearing attempts and forcing 29 Majors' turnovers.

Millsaps received two goals from Haleigh Williams and one each from Laura Gray and J.B. Page.

Madelyn Walker recorded 17 saves for Millsaps, while Berry goalie Taylor Martin had one save.

Berry closes out its 2011 season April 16 at Birmingham-southern.
