Biography

2012-2013: Named to the SAA Spring 2013 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll... swam in ten meets and set four personal records as well as two school records...swam a PR in the 100 L backstroke at the Copa Coqui Invite in Puerto Rico (1/5), posting a time of 1:23.82...set a school record in the 100-yard backstroke at the SAA Conference Championships (2/14), clocking in at 1:04.27...swam on the 200 medley relay team that set a school record (1:52.81) at the SAA Conference Championships (2/15). 

High School: Graduated from Cardinal Newman High School in Columbia, S.C. participated on the swim team…a member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Barbara Ann Briggs was born in Columbia, S.C. …the daughter of Marcial and Nancy Briggs…has two brothers, Brandon and Jeffrey.
