2010-11: Competed in all ten meets for the season…posted her first career record in the 1650 yard freestyle at the 20^th Annual Sewanee Invitational (11/5) with a time of 21:02.51…a week later, swam her best time in the 200 yard breaststroke with a 3:00.65 in the Darton College Invitational (11/13)…recorded another personal best in the 200 yard freestyle at the Rhodes and SGC Tri-Meet (1/21) with a time of 2:15.73…clocked two records at the Sewanee/Milligan Double Dual (2/5), including a 12:17.64 in the 1000 yard free and a 2:38.02 in the 200 yard Individual Medley…finished the season with three record-breaking swims at the Appalachian Conference Championship (2/17), posting a 5:49.66 in the 500 yard free, a 1:08.18 in the 100 yard butterfly and a 5:13.62 in the 400 yard IM.

2009-10: Swam in 11 independent events and six relay events... at the Appalachian Conference Championship, she swam her best 100 yard butterfly in 1:09.17, 200 yard Individual Medley in 2:32.64, and 400 yard IM in 5:21.33... at the Sewanee Invitational (11/6), she recorded her best times in the 50 yard butterfly (32.71), 1650 yard freestyle (21:30.42), and 200 yard freestyle (2:23.75)... her best 200 yard butterfly time was clocked at the Emory Fall Classic (11/15) in 2:42.54... of the 200 yard Medley relays she participated in, the best time was 2:04.27 posted was at the Warren Wilson Tri-Meet (1/23)... 1:53.26 was her best 200 Freestyle Relay team's time, 4:29.71 was the best 400 Yard Medley Relay time... she also set school records in both the 400 yard IM (5:21.33) and in the 1650 yard freestyle (21:30.43).

Prior to Berry:Graduated from Greenbrier High School in Evans, Ga...participated on her school's JV volleyball team her freshman year and the swimm team all four years.... won the sportsmanship award in 2005-2006 ...was part of a relay team all four years of high school... was on the Greater Augusta swimming team from 2001-2009 ...won the Most Spirited Award in 2006 for her training group...member of FCA.

Personal: Kayla Sanner was born in Ephrata, Penn. ...she is the daughter of Steve and Kim Sanner… has one sister, Elyssa… a communications major with a concentration in Public Relations and a minor in business at Berry.
