CONWAY, Ark. - With two wins over SAA opponent Hendrix, the Vikings have increased their overall record to 26-3 and remain perfect in conference at 11-0.

A big third inning boosted Berry to the shutout victory in five innings. Freshman
Ava Fouts earned her eleventh victory this season in the circle, with her standout career thus far, today she had more strikeouts than hits at 5 and 4, respectively. She now has 61 strikeouts this year.
Offensively,
Morgan Frye was the only batter to hit something other than a single, with her double in the first inning to get in scoring position so that she could score the next play on a Hendrix throwing error. (1-0)
The third finalized the game early with five hits and seven runs.
Sydney Moroney was the first to reach base after being hit by a pitch, then the hits started rolling in and
Shelby Daniel and
Elly Bennett led with two RBIs each.
Berry gained some confidence in base stealing today with five on the game, tying their season high!

Hannah Gore's 7 strikeouts led the game as she reached her 300
th career strikeout.
Twelve hits on twelve runs solidified game two for the Vikings, this time two big innings, the second and sixth combined for nine Viking runs.
Up 1-0, three doubles in the second made it hard for Hendrix to find a way out of the inning. Fouts had a day at the plate going 2-3 with three RBIs while
Morgan Frye followed close behind going 2-4 with two runs and two RBIs.
Gore held strong, only giving up one run across her five innings pitched and heading into the 6
th the Vikings were up 8-1 and looked to run rule the warriors for a repeat of game one.
In the sixth, four runs off of just a single hit sealed the deal, clinching the series against Hendrix. With a total of four batters walked and an error with a pair of wild pitches, the Warriors set up Berry for success.
The final game of the series will be tomorrow at 1:00 PM.
