MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - Freshman JJ Sweat hit the pitching circle on fire and earned herself an SAA Pitcher of the Week honor in her first collegiate start. 

JJ was a machine in game two of Saturday's doubleheader against Maryville, pitching a shutout that included 8 strikeouts with 27 batters faced in a complete seven inning performance. 

Catch JJ and the Vikings in action once again on Thursday at Covenant College for another double dip. First pitch is set for 1 PM.
