Skyler Powell

Skylar Powell began her role as an assistant athletic trainer for the Berry College Vikings in the summer of 2026. She works primarily with the football and men's lacrosse programs.
A native of Toccoa, Georgia, Powell earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology before completing a Master of Science in Athletic Training at the University of North Georgia in May 2026.
 
During her graduate studies, Powell completed clinical rotations in a variety of athletic settings, including North Hall High School, Buford High School, and the University of North Georgia, where she worked with the men's and women's basketball and tennis programs. She concluded her athletic training education with a spring 2026 internship with the Atlanta Falcons organization.
 
Powell is certified by the Board of Certification (BOC) and licensed to practice athletic training in the state of Georgia. She also holds Basic Life Support (BLS) and BLS Instructor certifications.
