Paige Ward assumed the duties for Berry athletic communications late in 2023 as she was named the Director of Sports Information and Promotions in November.
Ward oversees all of Berry College Athletics communications, streaming, social media, and BerryVikings.com and serves as the line for NCAA coordination and for the SAA. She is a member of the College Sports Communicators.
Prior to Berry, Ward was the Sports Information Director and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach at Huntingdon College from late 2022 to October of 2023. While at Huntingdon she oversaw 21 NCAA sponsored sports and two club teams. In addition to her basketball duties she also handled all athletic communications responsibilities including streaming, social media, the Huntingdonhawks.com website and game statistics while serving as the liaison to the NCAA and CCS.
Ward arrived at Huntingdon and joined the women's basketball coaching staff in 2020 after graduating that year from the University of Montevallo. She was a three-year player for the Division II Falcons after beginning her collegiate career at Snead State.Â
A team captain as a senior, Ward led Montevallo and was fourth in the conference with 68 made 3-pointers. During her three seasons with the Falcons she was in the team's top-three in 3-pointers made each season. She was a three-time member of the Gulf South Conference Honor Roll, a member of the Dean's List in each of her final six semesters and a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
