Berry College

Berry College welcomed former Presbyterian Collegestudent-athlete Laura Meade as the graduate assistant coachfor the women’s lacrosse team in January of 2013. She helpedthe 2013 team to an 8-9 finish and a berth in the SAAsemfinals.

A standout in and out of the classroom at Presbyterian,Meade was tabbed All America in 2008 and was a four-yearstarter at the Clinton, S.C. institution. She graduated inMay, 2012 with a B.S. in mathematics and a 3.85 grade-pointaverage. 

Meade earned the prestigious George A. Christenberry Awardfor academic excellence--presented by the Big South Conference--in2012. She earned Academic All America accolades twice atPresby.

A native of Kennesaw, Ga., Meade prepped at Harrison HighSchool. She recently served as assistant coach with the Elite HighSchool Team.
